Microsoft Intune
Player Communications
Microsoft Intune is part of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, a cloud-based solution for enterprise and education device management. As a PM on this team, I enabled features for K-12 IT admins to manage devices in bulk, supported iOS 13 security updates, and managed our partnership with Jamf.
I managed our partner relationship with Jamf to maintain and improve our Jamf Cloud Connector with Microsoft Intune offering, an integrated macOS authentication solution.
I owned the release and localization cycle for Intune Company Portal, the #27 business app in the Apple App Store with an average rating of 4.6 across over 550k reviews. I also launched the app’s support for iOS 13 and announced it in a customer-facing blog.
I troubleshooted and resolved issues with iOS Enhanced Jailbroken Device Detection and iOS Bypass Activation Lock in time for “day zero” support of iOS 13 release.
Intune for EDU device bulk actions help administrators solve the unique challenge of resetting and re-assigning school machines each year. Previously, they had to do this via complicated scripts or one-by-one. I designed and shipped the ability to push actions in bulk in the Intune for EDU app.
I researched and designed technical requirements to enable the ability to remotely rename Windows devices in both EDU and enterprise scenarios. This feature is critical for educational IT administrators who almost solely use device names to identity machines. I also helped launch the ability to add iOS device name prefixes prior to enrollment.
Azure IoT Central
Azure IoT Central is an app-building platform for creating powerful yet elegant IoT solutions. As a PM on this team, I led several content design projects, UX improvements, and accessibility requirements for WCAG 2.0.
I led a multi-sprint initiative to make accessible grids using Fluent UI components. This was a collaborative effort between backend and frontend teams in order to meet WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
As a PM on the UX team, I consulted and supported other projects including:
I worked with content and UX designers to turn all “empty states” and 404 pages in IoT Central into consistent and educational empty states or onboarding experiences.
